This blog documents my personal journey with egg freezing. I had 3 cycles while I was 38-39 in 2013. I have one ovary and live in the UK. Please feel free to ask questions or leave comments.
Such brilliant news, congratulations! I've been following your journey and keeping everything crossed for you. I hope Motherhood is everything and more it could be www.lifeloveandme.co.uk
Wow, amazing to see that it was succsessful and you got your baby from your frozen eggs! Congratulation, all the best for the baby and you! 🍀👍🐞😊 And thank you so much for cheering your experiences, so that others who are in this process can learn from your yourney and data! Wish you all the best!
Thank you! My clinic recommended 7 frozen eggs for one viable embryo and at age 38, 3 viable embryos for a good chance at 1 live birth. So 21 frozen eggs is a good target. But of course your individual experience can vary wildly! I do recommend looking at the book 'All about the Egg' and doing at least 2 cycles in case something went wrong with one.

DeleteAnd may I ask you for some advice?
ReplyDeleteAfter your journey and success, what would you advice, how many eggs need be to frozen per child at the age 33-36?
All the best with this little wonder!
